Financial Donations
We need your help to raise funds and supporters can opt to make a donation by cheque, cash or if you hold a Pay Pal account you can ‘Donate Now’ by clicking on the button to the left. You can also help support our cause by simply shopping for your on-line products via our Easy Fund Raising account. Over 600 high street retailers have agreed to support our fund by making a donation based on your spend, you may even receive additional discount!! By encouraging friends and family to use this site we can quickly raise the £10,000 needed to get the scheme under way.
If making a donation by Cheque please make payable to the Fylde Spitfire Memorial Fund and post to: Fylde Spitfire Memorial Fund, 2 Deal Place, St. Annes-on-Sea, Lancashire, FY8 3EN, England, UK. Donors sending more than £5.00 should enclose a stamped self addressed envelope, to receive four limited edition WW2 aircraft postcards, including W3644.
WW2 Aircraft Parts
We require donations of WW2 Aircraft Parts needed for display – can you help?
As part of our fund raising efforts we are searching for anyone who has any old aircraft parts or WW2 memorabilia which they are willing to donate to both our mobile display and towards helping us build a number of exhibits which will be displayed in what we hope will become a new Fylde Coast Museum of Aviation and Aircraft Manufacturing. We would also like to add as many original parts to our W3644 Spitfire so if you have any item at all and would like to donate it to our memorial then please get in touch.
Those who have visited our display will hopefully have found it very inspiring and educational. We have already been handed posters, pictures and even an old ARP tool box! Whatever it may be large or small we would be happy to give it a good home and to acknowledge the donation in any display. Please email info@w3644.com or telephone 01253 714818. Thank you!
Note of Thanks to Supporters and Total Raised to Date
As with any charitable cause it is always difficult to raise funds and spread the word of what you are trying to achieve, we hope that this site goes some way to helping the cause and from as far away as the USA, Australia and Canada people have been visiting the blog. On this page we seek to acknowledge some of those people and organisations that have already supported the Memorial campaign by donating funds or artefacts to the group.
We have been amazed at the distance the news of our project has travelled and thanks to you all!
