As part of our interactive memorial we are hoping to collect wartime stories and details of those residents who were born on the Fylde Coast and whom served in the RAF during WW2.
As part of the biographies provided we would like to receive copies of any documents that families may have, photographs of the family member in uniform and at work and also what these people did when they returned home after the war.
With the families permission these memories will be incorporated into an interactive memorial which will be part of the new Memorial.
By including these details we hope to not only keep the memories of those who lost their lives alive, but to also bring to life the parts played by members of our community during the War and to help pay tribute to not only those that lost their lives but to those that came back and whom very seldom shared their memories of this difficult time in our history.

Families can record and forward the details of their relative that fought in the RAF in both fighter and bomber command during WW2 using the form below or contact John on 01253 714818, or email info@w3644.com. This needs to be in the first instance for those that were born in Lytham St. Annes and the Fylde.
